The following are a number of road safety initiatives for novice licence holders to improve the safety of young drivers and riders on our roads.
P1 drivers and riders caught speeding must have their licences suspended for at least three months.
P1 drivers under the age of 25 must not drive with more than one passenger under the age of 21 between the hours of 11pm and 5am (the "peer passenger restriction"). rolex sea-dweller replica
Learner and P1 licence holders must not use any mobile phone, including a mobile phone with a hands free device, while driving.
All Learner, P1 and P2 drivers must display L and P plates on the exterior of their vehicles and the letter "L" or "P" on the plate must not be hidden.
Learner drivers getting their licence on or after 1 July 2007 have need to hold their learner licence for a minimum of 12 months (if under 25 years of age) and complete at least 120 hours of supervised driving (including 20 hours of night driving) before they can apply for their P1 licence.
